How do you align HR and Marketing to improve employee engagement and productivity?

Many companies have successfully aligned their HR and Marketing departments to strengthen their brand and capitalise on digital marketing trends to improve their competitiveness. Working together they can build an effective employment brand strategy which in turn can increase productivity.

As part of the People Power series Square One Law is hosting breakfast briefings where JP van Zyl, head of employment and Gill Gilthorpe, brand and business strategy consultant to Square One Law, will discuss how HR and Marketing departments, when aligned, can lead cultural change and improve employee engagement so the internal brand attracts talent and drives efficiencies to improve productivity and profitability.

Jean-Pierre van Zyl, head of the employment team at Square One Law, will share strategies used by both local and international employers to recruit to the brand, motivate performance and deal with troublesome executives and employees that undermine the internal and external brand.

Gill Gilthorpe has developed the brand and culture at Square One Law since its inception and previously developed the brand for 17 years at law firm, Muckle. She has her own consultancy and is well known for helping companies develop their brands, using her combination of skills to connect purpose, leadership, strategic business development and employee engagement to deliver a better service to their customers and attract talent to their organisations.
