This session will explore the importance of building your internal brand and culture to align with the external brand. It will explore how HR and Marketing teams working together add value to a business as their combined skills improve communication, team working and can help attract and retain talent.

The award winning education and training experts, Learning Curve Group will explain how a brand is the reflection of a company and provide insight into how the launch of their new brand and move to state of the art premises, enhanced their culture and values.

Deconstructing Privilege and Power in the Workplace 

The interactive session will use thought-provoking videos and structured activities to illuminate the complexity of privilege and power in the workplace.  Participant take-aways will include increased individual awareness of your own privilege, greater understanding of where and how power may emerge within that and tools to enhance your leadership practices.

Inclusive Recruitment and Retention


This workshop is about how businesses can support people with a learning disability or autism to overcome the significant barriers to entering the workforce. Looking at the reasons why people find it hard to get a job and why people with a learning disability or autism make some of the best employees you will find. Exploring practical ways of making your recruitment and retention practice inclusive. 

The breakout sessions are facilitated by experts from a variety of businesses.

Matthew Taylor CBE, is a British former political strategist and current Chief Executive (since 2006) of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in the United Kingdom and also the author of the Taylor Review report Good Work.

Emily Cox MBE, is the Group Head of Colleague Relations at Lloyds Banking Group. She was previously the Director of Public Affairs at Virgin Money. She was awarded an MBE in the 2018 for services to gender diversity in the financial services sector.

With rapid advances in technology and AI, changing social attitudes, agile working becoming more prevalent, concerns over skills shortages, heightened awareness of and a willingness to meaningfully address diversity and inclusion, as well as a widening generational divide - the world of work is changing at a pace like never before.
