Rebecca is a senior associate in the employment team. She has extensive experience advising businesses on their day to day employment law, human resource issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, poor performance, sickness absence and executive terminations.
Rebecca advises on employment related disputes and litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination, breach of contract and enforcement of restrictive covenants. She also has experience of providing businesses with employment specialist support in the context of acquisitions/disposals and specifically the application of TUPE. Rebecca regularly provides strategic and pragmatic advice on business decisions, including reorganisations and redundancy situations.
Rebecca trained and worked in London, at international law firms Jones Day and Hogan Lovells, before moving back to the North East in 2011 to take up a role at north east based firm Sintons LLP.
